Woodrow Wilson was without a doubt our worst president. From leading the Democratic party away from its free market roots, to dragging us into a pointless war, this man was a son of a bitch. and despite the dronish screech of "the parties switched"(which i will address in another post), Woodrow Wilson would most certainly be a democrat today

* Creation of the federal reserve, which has led to the devaluation of the us Dollar
*Segregation of the civil service.
*literally invited the KKK to the white house
*banning of even closeted homosexuals from the military
*Starting the process of crony capitalism with his subsides to agriculture
* supplied the British with armaments, even though Germany was not concerned with us at first
*banning virtually all Criticism of the war with the passage of the sedition and espionage acts
* his strong support for the treaty of Versailles, laid fertile ground for the Nazis to grow in
*banned drugs which led to crime increasing
"Progressive" policy he pioneered
*started federal pensions
* mandate the 8 hour workday
*signed into law the first income tax, Gradually increasing the top rate to 77%
*tried to drag america into the precursor to the united nations: The league of nations
*Started federal invovlment in water infrastructure
*signed several laws that are the direct forerunner to the federal regulatory state we have today
Through this I hope i have proved to you that Not Only was Woodrow wilson our worst president, but also the forerunner to the modern democrat party.
